...all the way!

My name is David and the story begins when my eldest daughter was planning her wedding but didn’t have any preference for how to get to the church on time. So, as a surprise, I hired a classic VW Beetle (for father and bride) and VW Campervan (for the bridesmaids).

It was such a success that I ended up buying my own!

Let me introduce you…

‘Jack’ is a 1971 T2 VW Campervan in white over blue, with the red-striped Dormobile elevating roof. (The name was inspired by the combination of colours.)

The vehicle has been very carefully restored to feature its wonderful originality and will seat 6 adults (5 in the rear on facing seats and 1 front passenger). It always attracts attention.

‘Emanuel’ is a 1969 VW Beetle in Toga white, that has been lovingly owned by one family since new, originally costing £869! (The name is in tribute to the first owner.)

The car seats 2 adults in the rear usually including the bride (the front seat can carry an additional passenger but is set forward to make room for the bride’s dress.)

Everyone loves a classic Beetle.

‘Dolly’ is a 1971 Ace Diplomat caravan that has been repainted in the same shade of white as Jack – so they make a perfect couple!

The interior has been refreshed in a suitably retro style and retains the original oven, fridge and gas fire.

Dolly is surprisingly spacious and provides a unique backdrop for your photos or just to socialise.

So, you can hire 1, 2 or 3 classic vehicles – depending on the occasion.
